Reel Jiggy were originally formed in 2009 for a one-off St. Patrick's day gig, but the members of the band gelled immediately and realised they had something special musically that had to be developed. The line up of vocals, mandolin and electric guitar (Matt), fiddle, mandolin and sometimes soprano sax, trumpet and percussion (Liz), guitar and vocals (Dave), bass guitar and vocals (Clive) and drums (Chris), make for plenty of variety.

Predominantly a folk funk band they have a huge array of musical experience and talent to draw on, from heavy metal to jazz and classical to name a few, and all share the same musical sense of humour and fun. This makes for a very original and entertaining take on the world of folk, funk and various other styles. We always leave audiences smiling and tired from dancing.

Reel Jiggy haven't been around long, but are quickly gaining a loyal fan base and are going from strength to strength.
